The Melbourne Campus (St Patrick's) is conveniently located on the fringe of the Melbourne Central Business District (CBD).

The popular retail strips of Brunswick Street and Smith Street, with their variety of cafes, shops and art galleries, are just a short walk away. Some of Melbourne's finest parks, gardens and recreational facilities are also within easy walking distance of the campus.

It’s easy to travel to the ACU Melbourne Campus. Parliament Station is just 600 meters away, six tram routes and 20 bus routes stop nearby, and there are over 170 secure lock-up points for bikes, many of them undercover.

By bus
Twenty bus services stop within 450 metres of the Melbourne Campus.

By train
The nearby Parliament Train Station is serviced by 14 lines and is on the City Loop – so there are frequent services all day to stations on those 14 lines, and to Flinders St Station.
The walk from the station to the campus is only 600m (about a 10 minute walk).

By tram
Six tram services stop within easy walking distance of the campus:

  • Tram Route 24: North Balwyn to City
  • Tram route 30: St Vincent’s Plaza to New Quay, Docklands
  • Tram route 86: Bundoora RMIT – Telstra Dome, Docklands
  • Tram route 96: East Brunswick – St Kilda Beach
  • Tram route 109: Box Hill – Port Melbourne
  • Tram route 112: West Preston – St Kilda

Student parking
Parking is available in the multi-storey car park at 22 Young Street (the rear of 115 Victoria Parade) during semester time.

The carpark is open 7 days a week, 6:00am - 10:30pm, with a maximum charge of $11.00 per day payable via a ticket machine.

Limited street parking is available close to the University, but these areas are heavily patrolled, so stick to the time limit or expect a ticket!

Disabled parking
There are two disabled parking spaces available in the front car park. Please contact Reception on (03) 9953 3000 if you would like to discuss disabled parking requirements.
